I'm trying to build DBD::Oracle on Fedora 9 but when I run 'make test' I get the following error on the 'long' test: t/30long................ok 1/470panic: sv_len_utf8 cache 10240 real 81920 for 123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890

and the numbers continue for a while before moving on. It doesn't seem to matter what version of DBI or DBD::Oracle that I use; I still get the same error. Currently here's the version specs: Database: 10.2.0.2.0 CHAR set is AL32UTF8 (Unicode), NCHAR set is UTF8 (Unicode) Client: 10.2.0.4 NLS_LANG is 'AMERICAN_AMERICA.AL32UTF8', NLS_NCHAR is '<unset>'
DBD::Oracle:   1.21
DBI            1.601-4.fc9

I tried 1.22 and got the same error. Any ideas? Perl 5.10?

I've had no issues on Fedora 8.

Thanks!

Kelly
