Hello all, I'm new to this list. I was here about 4 years ago. That means I did not find any problems during that time :)
my sys.log is telling me my application 'egbert' (I wrote this application) is causing segfaults somewhere in the DBI.so # grep -n DBI sys.log 2430:Sep 15 16:55:00 ebox kernel: egbert[9831]: segfault at c ip b7be5786 sp bf88f580 error 4 in DBI.so[b7bdf000+22000] 2534:Sep 15 17:35:00 ebox kernel: egbert[12948]: segfault at c ip b7be5786 sp bf88f580 error 4 in DBI.so[b7bdf000+22000] # the egbert application is in fact a perl daemon. I was pleased to verify that egbert does not crash. it keeps going. but I'm affraid this may be hiding something really serious that might hurt me later. How do I debug this ? could this be a known bug that might already have been solved ? thank you very much joao
