Hey Greg - yeah, my current workaround is to connect with sys/password, but that's not the same as the original bequeath connection ( i.e., connecting with / ) (which is documented here: https://metacpan.org/pod/DBD::Oracle#OS-authentication). I'll reach out to the maintainer.
