Dear Supports,
I have met difficulties in my Perl module setup in Solaris at the Solaris host
patching in October which renewed the openssl from version “OpenSSL 3.0.15 3
Sep 2024“ to “OpenSSL 3.0.16 11 Feb 2025“. After the patch, some library files
disappeared.
$ ldd
/usr/local/public/perl5.30.1/lib/site_perl/5.30.1/sun4-solaris-64/auto/Crypt/OpenSSL/PKCS12/PKCS12.so
libcrypto.so.1.0.0 => (file not found)
libssl.so.1.0.0 => (file not found)
libssp.so.0 => /usr/lib/64/libssp.so.0
libc.so.1 => /lib/64/libc.so.1
I have tried to reinstall the Perl module Crypt::OpenSSL::PKCS12 but found that
it has dependance on other modules that they are not clearly named in the
building log.
Please advise how to fix the problem properly?
Best regards,
L Y
P.S.
I have also tried to build another Perl installation in the patched Solaris
environment with Perl version upgrade to 5.38.2 for aligning with my other Perl
setups.
However, I have met other installation problems.
