I agree David I was not given that gift had I been I would have used it and I am not saying there aren't those who have it but like you, what I have seen is bogus and not real at all and I too, don't need it nor even desire it plain English will do for me as well. Don't get me wrong, God ordained speaking in toungues, but he did nordain all this stuff man fixes up upon man's behalf if you have a gift you have it not everyone has the same gifts nor should they and I am just as saved as you are even though I don't speak in toungues I too, am filled and am constantly being filled with the Holy Ghost because I have repented of my sins confessed my wrongs and do so all the time asked Jesus to be my Savior lord and master and have given Him control of me and all I have fully and completely and believe that He is the only begotten Son Of God that He came to earth from a virgin lived died and rose again and lives at the Father's right hand and is coming back for me and that settles it for me.
