Thought Of The Day

With deep sorrow
With deep sorrow,
I shudder at the terrorism's blight,
As I remember that henious destruction at the world trade center Site.
destruction and death kindled devastation's fear.
When I recall the September eleventh tradgedy, my heart cries and I shed a tear.
Human life so precious and so dear,
Beastly enemies snuffed out the divine sparks of innocent thousands.
Their eternal flames glow in my heart,
In my memories, these thousands of beloved heroes will never depart.

Eye Of The Storm

A wise sea captain, caught in a tropical storm, knows that if he holds his
vessel on the periphery it will get hurled from one side to the other. If he
can reach the eye of the storm, he will enter a place of stillness. The storm
will then subside and the ship can continue its journey.

Similarly, when everything around us are changing in a very intense way, the
best place for us is to seek shelter and refuge is not on the outside, but deep
within the self, where we can get in touch with our own inner being, find
strength and stability, then come out and do whatever that is needed to take
the situation under control. We need to control our life and should not allow
life to control us...
