Psalm 121
A Pilgrim Song
1-2 I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from
mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.
3-4 He won't let you stumble,
your Guardian God won't fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel's
Guardian will never doze or sleep.
5-6 God's your Guardian,
right at your side to protect you-
Shielding you from sunstroke,
sheltering you from moonstroke.
7-8 God guards you from every evil,
he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
he guards you now, he guards you always.
In these very frightening days ahead not knowing what is in
store for Christ followers, it would be easy to give up,
believe Jesus doesn't hear or answer nor care.
But we know from the above scripture that He does and
always will.
Prayer:
Jesus no matter how we feel, lead us always to your truth,
your wisdom your strength that you have all things under
control and you never have nor will ever be absent from your
Mighty throne and that you are as close as a prayer away and
within us always and you and that shall never change thank
you and we praise you Lord for all you are forever and ever
in your name, amen
