Oh Sean that's awful! Yed people truly take advantage sometimes all the luck
to you. It is too bad such technology has to cost so much but when I have
asked companies sometimes I have been given the reason that there is so little
demand for this type of product.

Subject: {dbilg} I Am not a Happy Woman!!!Fw: Just heard from the Braille
note people.
Hi all,
Let me explain and then read the message below. My BrailleNote was broken. we
sent it in and had it fixed. I believed that it should only cost 150 dollars or
something... WRONG!!! I think I was about ready to pass out and had to ask the
person to repeat the price to me a couple times before I could grasp it.
This is yet another case of people robbing the blind because they can. I'm
going to be doing some investigative work with GW Micro and see if I can't get
a comparison charge and if that is half again what was sighted here below in
the forwarded message, I'm going to be really angry! I'm thinking about selling
that BN so that I can get with a different company that doesn't cost so much.
On a fixed income... Where am I going to get this money? No I'm not asking for
any. The point is, none of these companies are willing to take payments. I
don't really want to get into debt living. I was expecting 150 but take a look
at what I received. ON top of that our washer is broken. I need some prayers.
I'm not very happy at all. if anyone has a braillesense, have you gotten it
fixed and for what price? How reliable is the BrailleSense? Does it work as
well or better than the BN? any information would be really welcome right now.
this is bogous!!! I'm am so mad. pray for my tongue not to get the best of me.
This is outrageous! I can't believe this!!! We were supposed to have a
retreat. May as well kiss that goodbye now. there goes my birthday and any
pocket drive I might have wanted. this is just not okay.
first of all, they said my battery was bad when it wasn't. They only needed
to replace the one part A key something. That's just really upsetting. the
person couldn't really explain to me why they needed to replace the battery in
enough coherant detail. I actually do feel like I'm being taken for a ride.
I've heard horrer stories about this company such as, "don't send your unit
in, it won't come back the same. And for what, a machine under a company who
doesn't plan on updating any of the compatibility for Microsoft word seven and
above. I think I understand that correctly, and that's a bunch of garbage to
me.
You know what really makes me angry? Season of sharing bought that in good
faith and now this is just plain garrbage. I like my BrailleNote but they need
to update things and also it needs to be more reasonabley priced for repairs.
Your average unimployed disabled person isn't going to be able to afford this.
Pray for the best outcome. Mean while I get to feel like I'm using my father or
someone. I really hate this and I don't want to have to keep asking him for
more money. that's not what a father should be for. No, I'm not happy. It sucks.
