Hello, It has been awhile since I posted anything to this group. Well, not much has happened expect that my mom came the night before Monday because of the SS office appt that I had made earlier. She got to see Beta and I think she was totally interested in watching him in the 5 gallon tank. We talked a bit then next day, I noted that she was a bit late getting up or something like that but I would not know for sure what happened in the morning, though. Then she came in the bedroom and asked if I was expecting someone and I said I think so, yes something like that and then went over to the living room where Mike brought in my new 2 desks with hutch with help of my mom. Thank God for that one because He knows what would actually happen per day and I paid him $280 for his service since he is the owner of A and B Refurnishing business. Anyway, it is not cheap for good reason because I do not like fakey wood stuff so that is how I ended up getting these red oak desks half plywood and solid at Wood You store. The store does have a website, though. Anyway, afterwards my mom went to one of the leather stuff stores in SPFD. She is crazy about leather stuff stores since she is in the business of repairing boots and saddles, I think. Mike looked at my stuff in the living room but my mom did not tell me everything as usual so I had to find out what he thought a few days later, of course. After the leather store thing, she came back and got me to the SS office. It was raining and then we were at the SS office for awhile. At least, I had made it very clear to her that I did need her help very much on this issue because she said that I should apply so I did what she said. I learned that I would not get any SSI and that I would get SSDI along with one time payment of my late dad's death benefits. My mom said that SSDI is better than SSI because the SSI is like welfare for the disabled or whatever. She said that the SSI will be the first program to be cut off as in 'killing' the program so that no one will ever get SSI if the government shuts down or whatever. I was not happy because I did not understand what was going on until my mom told me so that is what I know for sure. I still have to make another phone call to SS office about a few stuff and then it will be all right. I was really shocked to learn that my 2 brothers actually tried to apply for my late dad's death benefits! Luckily, they were denied because they have no disability whatsoever. Thank God for that! At least, Paul the last brother will get the half of the death benefit that is enough for me to know anyway. She also told me a bit more that shocked me a bit because I did not know that my first brother is responsible for any debts that my late dad had prior to his death and is responsible for the land in Lebanon. I really had no idea and I now realize that God knew what would happen so made sure that my late dad left nothing for me or Paul or Beth or Rose or my mom in his will. I guess it is for the best, anyway. Beth said that she does not want anything to do with getting any money or land from my late dad so what can I say? I don't know about Rose, though or even Paul, either. Anyway, I was a bit early for myfirst classes but next week was 20 minutes late because the bus arrived a bit too early so had to walk all the way from my place to OTC in 45 minutes, of course and was only 5 minutes late for the other class downtown. Well, I decided to prepare for a cat that my mom will likely bring to stay with me by going to Walmart to see how much it would actually cost to get cat stuff and came up with around $113 dollars (pet carrier included if get it at another store) and some cents close to $115 so that is not that cheap compared to what you can get for fish, of course. I would say having a fish is much cheaper than you would think! Then later on, I decided to get around to making a few calls to local vets in SPFD and found out that they are not cheap but I think I found one that might do very nicely because I don't know if the bus service will accept a cat on board if I need to go to the vet so maybe it might be for the best but I would not know for sure. All I know is that my mom has 7 cats which would be Mama Cat, and 6 kittens possibly born in the spring of this year. My mom has named a few of them but one of the kittens does not respond to the name of Paws even though she or he has extra paws on the front to be exact and is white, I think. Their breed is of Siamese and possibly Sweet Cream or Agora but not really sure. I know that Dr. Prigel who is a mobile vet would probably identify the other breed if he can, that is. His rates are cheaper than the 5 clinics that I have called so far and there is still more if I want to get around to it once again later. He treats cats and dogs only but there is a clinic nearby on South Campbell that treats exotic animals, pocket animals, cats and dogs and even small animals. They don't do fish, though so what can I say? Guess I should sign up for TetraCare to see what they know of dealing with Crowntail Betta fish thing but I must do the school stuff first. Well, I also will tell you that I met a guy who said I love you the first time but I made it clear that I not for this guy but it sure looked like he did not get the message that well or something so came back again two more times. I gave him a brochure from Lake Hamilton Bible Camp and I do know that after I told my mom about this guy. She said guys who say I love you first time are actually wanting attention not real love so I have to agree with that for once because guys who do that usually don't know how to love or give love and will hurt some lady in the long run. I don't need that kind of guy at all and I also was told that I should lock the door so I did that but the guy came back and he wanted to talk but was igroned because I was intent on giving my mom her little cooler along with a empty egg cartoon and the Jerusalem special tea package thing to her because she had forgotten about her cooler. Then on Saturday, he was back once again but I was expecting Mike to come back to remeasure my desks so could get the exact dimensions for the drawer faces (the cover for the keyboard tray under the desks) and got shamed because I had left the front door ajar. I shooed him out of the place after I saw him come in and said I love you since I was still on my TTY talking with Lowes, I think. I just know that this guy is NOT FOR ME at all so that is all I need to know for sure and I did ask God if I would be married or single. He has made it very clear to me that I will stay single until I am taken up. Afterwards, went to Lowes figuring that I might as well go there because I do not know where the deaf group meet now because the Kaidi's Coffeehouse closed down so what can I say? Anyone on this group knows about dealing with cats? Well, may God give you what you need for today then.
