Hello all,
Gee, Sean it was interesting that you took in a homeless guy while I did not
invite a homeless guy home because of the possible risk since my mom worries a
bit about me being alone in SPFD. I just did not think that it was unwise and
it would have cost me double if I had invited the homeless guy named Jim. I
never met a real homeless guy real close up before. Sure, I have tasted what it
is like to be sort of homeless but real homeless that is very tough even for my
taste, yes that is so. I am glad that God led you to take this risk of inviting
the homeless guy. Yeah, a risk doing that one. I think Jim looked decent and it
is possible that he lost his job or something happened. I have no idea. Too
late now but still unwilling to take risks that could endanger me and my pets
at this time. Nevertless, I will say that some years ago, I had no place of my
own for awhile. It was not a very good morale thing for me having no place of
my own. That does give me a bit of taste of what homeless really is like.
Staying with my mom because I had failed to pay the rent simply because I was
hoping to make money. Greed will do that to us which is not good even for us.
Anyway, I knew that my mom's shoe repair shop was not exactly clean and that
really got my morale down even though I tried to clean up a bit. I told my mom
that I was not happy without a place of my own. My mom asked if I wanted to
stay with my dad. I finally said no and it was a good thing that I did because
one or two months later, I was able to get in one of the HUD's apartments which
was Rolla Towers in my hometown. I will not forget that time. It was what some
people would say a bad year. Still, it was really interesting even if it was
not exactly good, I guess. I do know that I had to do the least favorite part
of taking a taxi back to my place because it costs more money than using the
bus service there. Well, last week I lost my appeite when I saw what my mom and
Rose had brought inside. I knew about the HAS pet policy. I am sure that you
know HAS is Springfield's HUD that deals with rentals for low income people, of
course. Their pet policy states that each tenant can have one dog and one cat
and that is why I know why I have no choice but to move again. Somehow I knew
in advance that I would have to move because of what my mom and Rose (my
sister) brought in. On Tuesday night, Rose held a Budweiser cardboard box with
one of my mom's or Rose's towel. Nested inside, were two black kittens that
were rejected by Mama Cat (my mom's Siamese cat that was given to her by one of
my brothers. Rose said that she wanted one of the 2 kittens but could not
because Beth (firstborn sister) will not allow any cats on her property for
some reason. The 6 week old kittens are half Siamese and other mystery breed of
which I have no idea at all but I bet that David Prigel (the mobile vet) could
find out for sure if he gets to look at these kittens. I have no idea of their
gender yet. I have never dealt with kittens that young before. In fact, I was
expecting a cat not two 5 weeks old kittens! At least they seem to like me very
much indeed which is fine with me but I do have to watch where I am walking
because I know that I usually don't watch where I walk inside my place mostly.
Right now, they are on my lap next to the laptop. Their claws are sure sharp
that I can attest to. I cringe a bit at doing their nails (claws). I have
thought that declawing them would be a good thing. Declawed animals will not
survive long in the wild, that is certain. Ah, excuse my manners Matino, my
name is Marcie Bogan a deaf and visually impaired lady residing in the 3rd
largest Missourian city of Springfield for 2 years now going to Ozarks Tech
Community College. Now I thinking of taking drawing class just to see what my
teachers think of my works. I am glad to say that my aunt Murnice is doing a
bit better now. My hometown is Rolla, Missouri 2 hours away and Rose (lastborn
sister) will be joing me. I was the first Bogan to move back to SPFD and Rose
is the second Bogan to come back there since she was born there but not me
because I was born in Royal Oak, MI. All right, I will tell you that I have not
named these 2 kittens yet and I believe that it is best to wait until later. At
least I got a book on suggestions of names for pets at Pet Warehouse and then
looked at what Walmart had but not see what I wanted and as a result, met Jim
the homeless guy. Okay, nothing else expect that I got a bit sick likely due to
what I might have conusmed. I hope that I am not allergic to the 2 kittens.
Meth lab, gee that is real tough to deal with. Best to keep on looking for
another place that is cheap enough to rent from but in a good neighborhood. Not
a easy find, I guess. Yeah, stay away from these meth labs because of the nasty
side effects. Ooh, they sure don't know or worse, do not care that they hurt
other neighbors with what they are doing. Not a nice thought but true as usual.
Okay, may God give you what you need for today then.
                                                Sincerely,
                                                           Marcie Bogan
