Doesn't work, the from field is empty.
OK. found the problem. dbmail-imapd doesn't read the SMTP section of dbmail.conf. Moving POSTMASTER to [DBMAIL] section and changing the source to get the POSTMASTER value from this section fixes it.

I haven't (yet) succeeded in getting a message from our database and reproducing the problem.

Simply pipe the attached mail to dbmail-smtp:
su dbmail -c "cat ./mail |/usr/local/sbin/dbmail-smtp -v -v -u
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"

OK, done. Using the above fix (get new code, move POSTMASTER from SMTP to DBMAIL) it works OK. It doesn't add any message yet, only changes the From: Header.
