Sorry... you don't look for answer, before you need them.

But you are right and I will go so fare that it should be taking out of the
dbmail, when this error still is possible. Or there should be a comment
about it, in the dbmail.conf, where you can turn it off/on. That it could
cost you some trouble.

Sigh. I've been repeating over and over again that using the auto-reply 
functionality is unwise exactly for the reason you mention here.

If you want this functionality, at present you are wise to use an external 
script like the one I posted somewhere in june last year.

Please note that the howto still refers to pre-2.0 user-management using 
dbmail-adduser instead of dbmail-users.
