In a heartbeat! I would say that memory and CPU are indeed a
tad light but if you can keep the number of children
processes down (in the dbmail.conf file) near a hundred
(LMTPD/POP3D/IMAPD) your 512 will hold up fine. Your 360mbs
mirror will surely make up for the slower CPU. I think you
will use a little swap after some uptime but it's fast swap
so go for it.

What operating system?

Suggest you use the latest 2.2 release of Postfix and
Current 2_branch snapshot of DbMail.

Subject: [Dbmail] question about 2.04

Hi,

Im planning for a try of dbmail 2.04
I want to use IMAP for the clients about 50-60
As MTA im using postfix, now is my question
i want to use shared folders and LDAP.
i'v seen the new dbmailAdministrator ( very nice work )

Are there more people out there using dbmail 2.0x
using IMAP. and how is the performance.

Im running on a SCSI U320 Raid 1 with 15K RPM drives
on a P3-866 with 512 Ram. Do i need a faster machine or
is this sufficiant.

the mail of the users is about 40 Gb.

thanx in advance,

Louis
