Well for F*&k sakes i just wasted a day getting the thing running oh
well you win some you lose some. have used both Squirrel mail and imp
in the past and they both seem slow not sure if it had to do with binc
or not wounder if they will be faster with dbmail or even worse. Have
hear some bad things about the sort and thread commands.
I'm starting to think about switching to cyrus or dovcot or something
please someone talk me out of it i have lots of time invested in dbmail
already and do not give easily. Infact i never give up but i need
filters for my users before i can implement dbmail on the main server an
this list has kicks ass support.

Ryan,
Sorry to spoil your mood here, but wedbmail is *not* for dbmail-2.x
It was written for dbmail-1 and never updated to use the changed
database schema for dbmail2. If you're handy with php, I'm sure it
wont be too hard to update the code, but it won't be trivial either.
Bug Jesse for more details.
You better start evaluating generic imap webmail clients.
Squirrelmail, horde/imp and ilohamail are just a few I've tested
and/or used with dbmail.

Ok i got dbmail purring like a kitten seems very fast much faster
than binc but oh how i need server side filters.
Anyway to stay on topic i would like to post my problems with
wedbmail i get this when i try to login as any user even if it does
not exist.
query "select user_idnr, encryption_type, passwd from users where userid
= 'luck'" failed
1146) Table 'dbmail.users' doesn't exist
Why would it be looking for dbmail.users should it not be dbmail_users.
Also once i log into the admin page i get this error everytime i try to
do something
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by
(output started at /usr/local/www/wedbmail/config.inc:132) in
/usr/local/www/wedbmail/admin/functions.inc on line 30
looking at functions.inc thought it might have something to hostname
so i changed it from local host to computerking.ca and now i am
getting this error.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by
(output started at /usr/local/www/wedbmail/config.inc:132) in
/usr/local/www/wedbmail/login.php on line 37
Had some trouble adding themes manually so i figured i would do through
admin do i need a theme to get admin page to work???
Hope these are not stupid questions have spent several hours on these
errors before posting. I have already pestered the authors of
wedbmail with a couple questions that i answered myself sorry folks.
