Florian,
Could you perhaps run it through gdb and provide me with a backtrace?

Definitely a bug.
I am quite puzzled: did I actually find a bug (would be my first time *g*) or
am I missing something obvious? Interestingly, IMAP and LMTP access work
flawlessly *except* for one folder. (POP is untested)
Please explain the part about the one folder that doesn't work.
For the record:
- sufficient hardware: dual Xeon, 1.5GB RAM, enough diskspace
- current Gentoo Linux
- kernel 2.6.11.6
- PostgreSQL-8.0.1 (Gentoo ebuild: postgresql-8.0.1-r2)
2.1.0 is untested on postgresql-8. I've only tested 7.4.7. Not that I expect it
to be relevant, though.
- 3 users
- a few 10,000 messages in the DB
This doesn't add up. dbmail-util reports 4491 uncached physmessages, but you're
talking about 10,000+. Was the rest cached in an earlier run? I.e. is it some
specific message that's crashing dbmail-util?
- Postfix-2.1.5
- KMail from KDE-3.3.2
I have experience with the usual development tools and would happily help with
debugging.
That would be great.
Thanks in advance for your time,
Florian Weber
