I've tested the message you sent me. No problems here.

Could you test inserting that message yourself. Given that insertion uses the exact same code as a cache update in dbmail-util, it should crash as well for you. I wonder if it's some optimization gentoo is doing that's triggering this.

pyhsmessage_id=2359 is an offending message, the output was produced with psql's options \t and \o FILE which together pipe the SELECT's output directly into a file (and only that, no field delimiters and the like).

I'm nearly 100% sure that the copy is binary exact.


You must be inside gmime/glib here. Which I guess wasn't compiled -g.
