Are you sure you checked it in? My subversion pull at 21:20 CEST still shows 
you at revision 1749.

I had it figured out about .003 seconds after asking. :-)
The DB is easy to comprehend on first sight.

I can't say if the crash-causing messages also cause the hangs - yet. I'll 
look into that tomorrow. If you'd like to get together in IRC or IM just send 
or request contact info via PM, preferrably encrypted..
