One of our webmail users is complaining that when he sends a message
that the message does not always go to his sent items folder. My
guess is other users are having this problem but have not noticed it
yet.
My question is what is the best way to track down this issue? How do
I nail down which application is causing the problem? My gut feeling
is dbmail is the culprit, but I am not certain how to confirm this.
Every user in SquirrelMail (like in the most other good IMAP-clients)
has an option - his 'Sent' folder.
First, you may check if the user has accidentally changed it to some
folder. Even to the one he is not subscribed to now.
Then, may be, check his quota. It might be possible that there isn't
enough space to store his sent message.
