I guess it shouldn't be too hard then, to find someone to keep the ports package
up-to-date.

I'll gladly accept and incorporate any contributions that will help people build
and deploy binary packages into the source tree.

Cross platform portability is indeed a valuable asset for dbmail, and I'm glad
people take an interest.
