It's not unlikely that it's a dbmail issue. Thunderbird uses different
imap commands than squirrelmail, and bugs may well still lurk in the
FETCH code.

If you can reproduce the problematic retrieval of attachments, please
file a bug and post a level5 log in the bug report.
