SQL is your friend.

On sqlite and postgres you can do:

update dbmail_mailboxes set name="MAIL-ARCHIVE/yyyy/mm"
 where mailbox_idnr = (
  select mailbox_idnr from dbmail_mailboxes b
  join dbmail_users u on b.owner_idnr=u.user_idnr
  where u.userid='testuser1' and b.name='INBOX'
 );

mysql doesn't allow this type of sub-select, so you need to do a
two-step: first retrieve the mailbox_idnr using the select, then update
the record involved.
