SQL is your friend. On sqlite and postgres you can do: update dbmail_mailboxes set name="MAIL-ARCHIVE/yyyy/mm" where mailbox_idnr = ( select mailbox_idnr from dbmail_mailboxes b join dbmail_users u on b.owner_idnr=u.user_idnr where u.userid='testuser1' and b.name='INBOX' ); mysql doesn't allow this type of sub-select, so you need to do a two-step: first retrieve the mailbox_idnr using the select, then update the record involved. -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul Stevens paul at nfg.nl NET FACILITIES GROUP GPG/PGP: 1024D/11F8CD31 The Netherlands________________________________http://www.nfg.nl _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.fastxs.nl/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
