It is actually not that hard to build your own .debs from SVN:
$> svn checkout https://svn.ic-s.nl/svn/dbmail/branches/
dbmail_2_2_branch
$> cd dbmail_2_2_branch
$> dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -b
$> dpkg -i *deb
And that's about it :-)
