Thanx for the response guys.

On a side note I actually work for the same ISP as Jon Duggan
who has been discussing other issues we've had mainly related to 579.

The performance overall is fine we get no queues, pop3 is fine and general
imap is fine. The only issues we have had is related to combined webmail +
imap. As said above, imap on its own runs perfectly.

With imap and webmail together we've had numerous issues with performance
and bug 579. Though, we've been working franticly on things that could
help it.

I've made the changes that you had stated with regards to innodb in mysql
and that seems to have assisted performance slightly.

One other thing that we've been testing is with round cube instead of
squirrelmail and round cube in my opinion so far seems by far a lot
quicker
and more reliable.

As you may already know this is a live server with between 4-5k of users,
i.e. if something breaks we get a phone call pretty much immediately which
is nice! lol.

Any other suggestions anyone may have with regards to webmail+imap and
performance i'm all ears.

Thanx
