I've just had a problem with a client having german Umlaut in his
password. We have a web app for setting passwords, and the user chose
to have "löl", which didn't work.

Our web app is UTF8, the dbmail db is UTF8 too, but using POP there are
authentication errors. I've double checked, I can see the correct
password in the db, it just doesn't work. How can I make it run?
