You can't use --authuserX since dbmail doesn't support authorization as an other user than the one logged in. Of course, it's not needed if you provide read-access through the acls.
So if: - you provide read-access to your backupuser on all mailboxes - subscribe your backupuser to all mailboxes in the #Users namespace this will work just fine if you simply login with the backupuser's credentials.
