Never portforward incoming SMTP connections to port 24 where lmtpd is running! The README.postfix clearly explains step by step how to connect postfix to dbmail-ltmpd which is needed if you want to receive email into dbmail. > > what daemons should I be running? Same for dbmail-timsieved if you want to support MANAGESIEVE to users. In general, don't even *think* about setting up DBMA or AMAVIS or DSPAM or whatever, until you have dbmail up and running integrated with your MTA (postfix). Try to keep it simple, take it step by step. -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul Stevens paul at nfg.nl NET FACILITIES GROUP GPG/PGP: 1024D/11F8CD31 The Netherlands________________________________http://www.nfg.nl _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.fastxs.nl/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
