dbmail has me interested, I read the doc's and as with most db applications
it recommends large amounts of RAM. Situation is I'm using a VPS and not my
own hardware, so here's the scenario

1) OS Gentoo 32 bit MySQL VPS server that it's sole function in life is
that of MySQL it also functions as a db server for my other web application
(Drupal). Currently out of 720 MB RAM I average under a 100 MB usage.
2) I'd like to get another VPS to function as my mail server using dbmail
and connect to my existing MySQL server.

So question is realistically with only about a dozen users what will the
requirements be for a mail server, I'm thinking that 360 MB should be more
than enough. Also with my current RAM usage for my MySQL server I have have
more than enough RAM to accommodate a dozen or so users.

Also I noticed that the current tutorials are geared towards the db server
residing on the same server as the mail server. I'm assuming that
configuring dbmail to use a db server on my LAN isn't an issue.

TIA
Cheers
