Hi,

I'm seeing an odd issue with the IMAP folders. If I have multiple
sub-folders, When I check folders on a higher level, I see the higher level
folder multiple times, once per subfolder.

For example, if I have I the following folders:

Mail/foo
Mail/bar
Mail/baz

I'll see the Mail folder listed 3 times at the top level, and foo|bar|baz
listed under each of those. Moving mail to/from any of those affects the
same directory on all levels, so it does look like they are actually the
same directories.

This is how things show up in Alpine, and it would also explain why
checking IMAP mail from a Windows Mobile IMAP client takes a very long time
(and several megabytes!) since the number of folder increases
exponentially. Thunderbird on a LAN doesn't seem affected - it only shows
the folders once, but I don't know if it suffers the folder download volume
explosion since that happens at LAN speeds.

Is this a DBmail misconfiguration? Or corruption in my mail database? Is
there anything that can be done about this?

Thanks.

Gordan
