After some hesitancy, I upgraded the OS to Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin
and added that repo. However, still stuck on libgmime:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/175731/which-ppa-or-repo-has-libgmime-2-0-2a
so I have only one requirement, I think.
