Ok, solved the downloading problem, but still getting lots of disconnected pieces in the database.

I upgraded from 2.2.17 to 3.1.7. I ran 2_2-3_0.mysql then 3_0_2-3_1_0.mysql. i then ran dbmail-util -ay. It did what I thought it would do and repaired some 147,000 messages. I had to run it a couple times after that, but

This happens over and over and over. Something is wrong, here. it's almost like the executables are not handling the database correctly. The package I downloaded says 3.1.7, but when I run dbmail-pop3d -V it reports 3.1.6

Has anyone else seen this?
