Hi, I'm currently working on a web application where interesting topics are identified by dbpedia URIs such as <http://dbpedia.org/resource/Barack_Obama> (plus some locally added URIs such as <http://mysite.com/rdf/Some_topic>). Now I'm interested in a mapping that gives me a list of dbpedia URIs for a given text.
I guess for English texts that's exactly the definition of what Spotlight does ;-), but I was wondering: * Can I also include my locally added URIs, given they have not much more than a label to query for? What information would I have to attach to those local URIs to get them as meaningful results? * I read that it "should be" rather easy to modify Spotlight to use other languages as well. Has anyone here used German successfully as an input language and uses Spotlight for German texts in production?
