Every time I run mvn install, Maven overwrites the DBpedia files in
~/.m2/repository. No problem.

Also works with other modules. To check this, I downloaded the sources
of a module I had already installed (commons-logging 1.1.1) and ran
mvn clean install. Maven created several new JARs and overwrote the
old files in ~/.m2/repository that had been downloaded from the repo.

I guess the problem you have is not really caused by the SNAPSHOT
version. Maybe it's just that the file permissions are wrong? Did you
copy the repository files from another user?

JC
