Hi everybody! I'm Gaurav Vaidya, a graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder, and I plan to spend this summer writing a Wikimedia Commons extractor for DBpedia with my mentors Dimitris, Andrea and Jim. The plan is to focus on the basics (categories, copyright, and so on) before moving on to the more advanced Commons templates (Information, Artwork) if possible.
