You can use inference rules to deal with redundancy and other issues 
re., DBpedia e.g. property name changes in the latest cut [1].

Hopefully, we'll get some notes with examples in the coming days. In the 
meantime if you go to <http://dbpedia.org/fct>, enter a text pattern 
e.g., "Lincoln", hit enter, and click on the "options" link in the 
navigation DIV, to see the existing inference rules[2].
