Hi,

The public DBpedia endpoint is... public
There is rate limiting, time execution limits, incomplete results (Anytime
queries <http://docs.openlinksw.com/virtuoso/anytimequeries/>), etc to make
sure people does not "abuse" it.
if you produce a lot of load on the public endpoint or want to execute
expensive queries you will probably start getting 5XX errors back and then
start thinking of self/managed hosted options
