What happened at Boreal '85???

I heard that at this show some tragic failures occured on and offstage.  Apparently there was a lot of difficulty getting to the venue, and the Dead played a less-than-stellar show. Any attendees have recollections of this show? Is the entire show available in CD yet?   Barry
