Oded, there is a problem with your compiler :-( It says that gcc doesn't work for some reason. Here is the documentation on spack concerning the compiler http://software.llnl.gov/spack/basic_usage.html#compiler-configuration Unfortunately, I don't have a mac so I can't help you but Denis should know what to do.
