Hi, To share a little bit of my travelers' experience. I've been living in Argentina for a few years now. Since about 12 months I'm unable to withdraw at the ATMs more than 320 $ pesos (about 100 $ CAN) at the time from my bank account in Canada and from my Visa. I can make up to about 4 to 5 withdraws per day. The problem is that I get charge a few dollars per withdraw on my bank account which get expensive with time... But on Visa I don't have any charge per transaction and interest on the cash IF I've money on my Visa.
Since I got to know this trick, I've reduced a lot my spending on bank charges... See you at the debconf. Sébastien W.
