This works in Buenos Aires, for a maximum of three times in one ATM and then twice in another for a total of five transactions in one day. I'm not sure where that limit of five has come from, but it's been pretty consistent. In some ATMs you can take out 340 pesos, in others 640 pesos. I also recommend taking out like 290 pesos instead of 300 or whatever, so you get change. If you get 300 pesos out, you're likely to get three 100-peso notes which are hard to break.
