Thank you. I tried booting the 2.6 kernel with as parameters: root=/dev/sda7 mac53c9x=-1,0 ... but I end up with a kernel panic, take a look at this picture: http://www.geocities.com/alexteclo/images/quadra700_02.jpg Cheers, Alex
