The Social Contract says “Our priorities are our users and free software We will be guided by the needs of our users and the free software community. We will place their interests first in our priorities. We will support the needs of our users for operation in many different kinds of computing environments.” So in a sense this already includes accessibility, I don't think we'd get this modified. Perhaps rather something could be got into the Debian Policy. That being said, what should be done before that is documenting things, since one can't impose something which is not documented. As a reminder, the TODO list of https://wiki.debian.org/accessibility-devel includes adding accessibility things into the developer's reference document, the NM process. I'd say that should be done and advertized before thinking about formalizing anything. Samuel
