What audio card does this emulate? Do you expose multiple cores in the virtual machine? I have tried to install 13.2 inside qemu with an intel-hda card, without any issue, even with looking at vt4, thus talking a lot of logs. > The installer crashed twice and speechoutput stopped and I finaly gave > up. > > I can try to reproduce this behaviour but what infos do you need after the > crash? Screen output, logs, etc? How can I collect those infos? *Everything* can be useful. But the installer is not an environment where this can be collected easily... It would probably be useful to try a preinstalled image: https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/cloud/trixie/latest/ and run espeakup in it, with the availability of dumping core files, etc. Samuel
