My guess is that Alpha has a one to two year window before it sees any real threat in terms of fp throughput in its price range. I hope Compaq uses the time well. (They certainly will have done so if they can deliver on 1Gz+ 21364.) I plan on going Alpha in the short term. T. -- Timothy H.
