Beware - There are many glitches caused (I think) by the 64-bitness of the Alpha. I have never tried building it (although I know it must be possible, as I have the binaries ;-) ), but I use it as my primary browser. It is not, however, nearly as fast as it is on a PC. It starts pretty good, but speed deteriorates painfully after a day of use... I suppose it is some memory leak or something similar (maybe if you try freeing an unaligned chunk of memory... I'm no C coder, so I can only speculate :) ) In short... Galeon rules. It is, however, not fast. I often close it and relaunch it two or three times a day. It takes a LOT of time to load. If it is of any use, I have a 600MHz LX164 Alpha, 128MB RAM, and don't run almost any Gnome stuff. -- Gunnar Wolf - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - (+52-55)5623-1118 PGP key 1024D/8BB527AF 2001-10-23 Fingerprint: 0C79 D2D1 2C4E 9CE4 5973 F800 D80E F35A 8BB5 27AF -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
