The installation manual for alpha states:
"For example, if you have a floppy disk drive on your machine, it can be
used to install Debian."
(http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/alpha/ch02s02.html.en) But
unfortunately there is no floppy image around for sarge. You can still
use the woody floppies from:
ftp://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/debian/dists/woody/main/disks-alpha/current
and dist-upgrade afterwards.

Hi,
I have a Digital Multia machine which I want to "debianize".
Unfortunately I cannot get it working with a bootable CD.
Before I try different external CD-drives I wanted to test the
floppy-disk option.
But I don't find the /install/floppy content you are refering in our
readme.
I tried he first two iso-images but.
Could you please tell me, in which iso-image I would find those or you
may send me theses 1.4MB via email?
kind regards,
Markus Heidt
