Might explain my tests, I used bonnie++ to test a U320 10,000 rpm drive located on a U160 HBA, sync rate 160MBsec. I get 51/58 MB/sec for IO, hdparm -Tt reads 39MB/sec. Bonnie tests file system & hard drive performance, hdparm ? -- Greg Madden -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
