Well apart from this issue, we've been quite pleased with the two we've bought (the other's a centrino). The components seem reasonably well supported in linux; I agree it's a pain if they hide behind a windows only policy. That said, I suspect that it's the same with any manufacturer that sells mainly windows OS systems. At the risk of starting a flamewar (not my intention) what would you recommend?
