that's incorrect: kde plasma active has been specifically designed
with tablets in mind. the workflow is extremely effective and the
design highly responsive. a lot of thought has gone into kde plasma
active: there are dozens of video demonstrations available on youtube
which you can examine.
I wonder if I could ask a generic question at this point: how good is
the touch handling on (affordable) current and upcoming tablets, and
would they support something like http://risujin.org/cellwriter/ which
is claimed to recognise arbitrary Unicode characters but is designed for
something like a Wacom pad?
