https://ftp-master.debian.org/backports-new.html It isn’t required, but I would recommend you send an email to Debian Backports <[email protected]> announcing that you have backported nxt-firmware and why those running stable might be interested in it. You don’t want to do this for every backport update, but it is considered good manners the first time a package enters backports.
