Hi,
I have written some documentation to cover the specific issues of
installing on a Newworld PowerPC Mac. this includes the necessity of
creating a small 800K partition with a partition type of
"Apple_Bootstrap" placed first on the disk. it also covers how to use
ybin and mkofboot to make the system bootable from the disk.
I also wrote a quick tutorial on using mac-fdisk.
I am looking for someone to assist in cleaning it up, clarification,
and adjustment to make things fit into the debian install docs. I am
also not a debian developer and thus do not have CVS access.
This documentation is essential to setup a newworld system that can be
made bootable, these machines are not compatible with quik, and not
very compatible with BootX.
